1. COMPOSITION

ECODYES are dyes obtained from natural complex polyphenols of low molecular weight.

2. PHYSICAL and CHEMICAL PROPERTIES

Aspect : spraydried powder

Colour : dark reddish chestnut brown

pH (10 % solution) : 7.5 +- 1.0

Solubility at 20°C : > 30 g/liter

Colour on leather : REDDISH BROWN

3. CHARACTERISTICS

ECODYES are recommended on chrome leather for through-dyeing. They allow a very net decrease in production costs. Their low molecular weight gives them excellent penetration in direct dyeing, which can be activated with the use of our dispersing agent, SYNTEX APH.

VEGDYE QN penetrates and takes up well on chrome leather, either slightly or strongly vegetable retanned.

It produces a strong reddish brown shade with good levelling and good wet and dry rub fastness.

It can be used either as shading agent or in mixture with all other acid dyes.

On the other hand, sandwich dyeing or using direct dyes at the second dyeing strengthen the shade obtained and make it brighter.

4. APPLICATIONS

All types of chrome leather requiring rapid and through dyeing.

- Upper leathers, buffed and pigmented finished or semi-aniline

- Morocco leathers, even very thick

- Suede

- Crust leathers

- Lining leathers
