3. CHARACTERISTICS

DUVALTAN DCL is stable in neutral and alkaline media.

In acid media, DUVALTAN DCL produces firm, tight grain by " in situ " reticulation and noticeably improves the loose aspect.

DUVALTAN DCL is also recommended for leather and split for the manufacture of patent leather.

The percentages to be used are between 4 - 8 % for obtaining firm leather and 3 % in order to improve loose grained bovine leather.

- Grained leathers and skins

- Retanning of upper leather

- Retanning of split and corrected grain

- Glazed and burnish article with RETAN GL
