3. CHARACTERISTICS

DUVALTAN MF is stable in neutral and alkaline media, miscible with vegetable tannins and most of syntans.

DUVALTAN MF gives a firm grain by reticulation inside the leather and noticeably improves the loose grain in the flanks.

Colours on wet-blue leather are deeper when using this resin during the retannage process.

DUVALTAN MF is also recommended for grained skins and it does not affect the handle.

The quantities to be used are between 3 and 4 % for improving loose grain in the case of bovines and 2 to 3 % in the case of light skins.
