3. CHARACTERISTICS

Retan 3X has been specially formulated in order to realize very supple and chrome free tannage from a pretanned skin, using a sole tanning agent.

The combination of vegetable tannins with penetrating synthetic tannins ensures a good distribution in the leather.

Retan 3X has a weak astringency allowing quick through-tannage.

Used alone, it gives very supple leather with good hand and good light resistance.

Retan 3X is also suitable for the vegetable retannage of chrome leathers. It can be advantageously added to vegetable tannins in order to ensure a good distribution in the leather.

It can also be used in addition to retanning syntans by bringing the characteristics of vegetable tannins for a supple retannage keeping a fine and tight grain.

4. APPLICATIONS

• Tannage of chrome free automotive leather : 30 % on pretanned weight, added in 3 times

• Supple retannage of full grain leather
