3. CHARACTERISTICS

RETAN FG 212 combines rapidly with the proteins of the skin in order to product supple tannage and fine grain.

Compared with vegetable extracts of the same group, RETAN FG 212 always gives softer touch and suppler leather.

Used at the end of the retanning process, RETAN FG 212 acts as levelling agent without affecting the dyeing intensity.

Thanks to its swelling property, RETAN FG 212 is particularly suitable for the retannage of leathers and skins which are too flat and too firm.

4. APPLICATIONS

- Retannage of chrome leathers and skins in order to improve the mellow touch ;

- Retannage of goat and kid skins, pure aniline finished ;

- Retannage of leather for garment ;

- Levelling agent for dyeing.
