RETAN GPG

1. COMPOSITION

Extract of pyrocatechol tannin based on Gambir, obtained by extraction of leaves and bushes of Uncaria Gambir.

2. PHYSICAL and CHEMICAL PROPERTIES

Colour : dark beige

pH (10 % solution) : 4.0 +- 1.0

Total solids : > 92 %

3. CHARACTERISTICS

In addition to its tanning power, RETAN GPG naturally contains glucosides, waxes, mineral substances which have the property of self-fixing on leather. This enables to get a very soft leather with good hand.

Because when used alone in tannage, RETAN GPG gives spongy leather, it is mainly recommended in retannage as it brings softness, mellowness, round feel.

RETAN GPG allows good levelling in dyeing and improves adhesion of finishes.
