3. CHARACTERISTICS

RETAN K19 is suitable for vegetable tanned or chrome/vegetable leather and it gives good suppleness. In vegetable tannage, it is possible to replace the usual vegetable tannins by RETAN K19 in the proportion of 15 % maximum.

RETAN K19 produces a leather with pastel shade. Due to its soft character, it is appropriate for the retannage of goatskins and gives a fine grain.

RETAN K19 is an excellent mordant for the dyeing in pale shades. It is also a great auxiliary of dyeing at the end of the retannage for getting levelled dyeing

4. APPLICATIONS

- Retannage of supple leathers and skins

- Retannage of Suede

- Mordanting of chrome leathers before dyeing

- Levelling agent at the end of dyeing.
