3. CHARACTERISTICS

RETAN SFK had a high content of natural tannins and a full cold solubility. RETAN SFK has been specially studied to insure that leathers get always the same shade mainly for vegetable tanning in drum or in pit.

RETAN SFK, in retanning will give a better strength, better fullness to leather if used in proportion of 5 %.

Another application of RETAN SFK is its dispersing action in the treatment of drilling muds.

RETAN SFK is also used for the treatment of boiler waters and metallic surfaces. RETAN SFK acts as oxygen captor and assists in the prevention of salts deposits.
