3. CHARACTERISTICS

The combination of vegetable tannins with penetrating synthetic tannins ensures a good distribution in the leather.

RETAN VS has an average astringency allowing a quick through-tannage.

Used alone, it gives a very supple leather. It is recommended to replace a part of the vegetable tannins by RETAN VS in order to improve the fastness to light and adherence.

RETAN VS is particularly suitable for the vegetable retannage of chrome leathers. It can be advantageously added to vegetable tannins in order to ensure a good distribution in the leather.

It can also be used in addition to retanning syntans by bringing the characteristics of vegetable tannins for a supple retannage keeping a fine and tight grain.

- Retannage of hides

- Supple retannage of full-grained leathers.
