1. COMPOSITION

SYNTEX B2K is a replacement synthetic tannin based on dihydroxidiphenylsulphone.

2. PHYSICAL and CHEMICAL PROPERTIES

pH (10 % solution) : 4.0 +- 1.0

Total solids : 94 - 95 %

Solubility in water : very good

3. CHARACTERISTICS

White synthetic tannin with very good light fastness.

Used alone, SYNTEX B2K produces full, round and supple white leathers.

SYNTEX B2K has a good bleaching action on vegetable leather.

In retannage on chrome leather, it gives a mellow touch which is not spongy, and a bleaching effect.

4. APPLICATIONS

- SYNTEX B2K is recommended for the production of white leather ;

- Bleaching and retannage of vegetable hides and skins ;

- Nubuck and white reptile skins ;

- Retannage of chrome leathers which are too flat and then need to be filled. In this case, quantity to be used can vary from 5 to 10 % (% on shaved weight).
