3. CHARACTERISTICS

SYNTEX PRA is a naphtalene sulphonic acid stable in acid media with non swelling properties.

SYNTEX PRA is recommended for the pretannage of pelts to be stocked in w/w condition.

SYNTEX PRA is non astringent and gives a medium white leather with a cross section at pH = 3.5/3.6 allowing all sorts of tannage.

4. APPLICATIONS

- Pretanning of wet white leather 10-12 % based on delimed weight

- Quick vegetable tanning 4-6 % on pelt weight
